This project is inspired by the documentary Wildlife in the City, presented by David Attenborough, which highlights the surprising diversity of wildlife living alongside us in urban environments.
Each session will be co-led by one professional artist and one environmentalist. The environmentalist will provide accessible learning about insects, birds, and other wildlife found in the garden, helping participants understand local ecosystems and biodiversity.
The artist will guide creative responses to this knowledge and supporting participants in developing their artistic skills and confidence.
Explore City Wildlife through pencil sketching, watercolour painting, charcoal studies, and 3D projects
The sessions are open to all ages and designed to be inclusive and accessible.
Children have to be accompanied by an adult.
All art materials will be provided free of charge.
