Corner Nine Arts Project is one of three that have been given an award by the
Community and Shared Values Team of COOP UK.
On Wednesday the 10th November we gave a presentation outside the local COOP
store in Latimer Road W10, about a proposed project called “Good Writing”. This
project is about hand-writing as a way to improve fine motor skills,
hand-eye-brain-sensory connections and, of course, to be a channel for
self-expression and enjoyment.
The award was for £2000.00 but we can receive more through the individual
purchases of members of the Co-op. It costs £1 to become a COOP member and for
each pound spent in its stores a contribution will be given to Corner Nine if
members nominate it.
